Dokuwki has a concept of namespaces. Namespaces are like folders. The notation for namespaces is to separate them with colons (:)

For example wiki:mypage

You can also nest namespaces like folders. wiki:dev:newdevpage

Creating pages in Dokuwiki isn't obvious, but it is easy.

To create a page, you have a few options

• Go to an existing page and edit the URL bar to the name of the page you want to create, then click Create.
• Search for the page you want to create, then click the red link

Note that you probably want to create new pages in the wiki namespace. As more pages are added, we may decide to restructure and add and categorize pages.

In a default dokuwiki installation, there is no easy way to rename or move pages. However an extension has been installed to make this easy.

Just go to the page you want to move or rename and click “Rename Page”

To delete a page, just edit the page and remove all the text in the box and click save. This will cause the page to be deleted.
